The main changes: The Series 1 and Series 2 tripods now have a new leg setting for a lower shooting angle similar to the Series 3 tripods.

The Series 2 tripods now have an upper magnesium casting for extra strength and lighter weight, and a gasket to secure the tripod feet.

The Series 3 and Series 5 tripods now have the "Safe Lock" plate (Series 1 and 2 got the plate last year) with a set screw for additional head security and a gasket to secure the tripod feet.

Note: the Safe Lock plate will be available separately for all models later this summer for an estimated $30 if you wish to upgrade.

In addition, we are now stocking the All Terrain Big Foot feet and Tripod Spikes for firmer footing.

The elusive GS5121LVL leveling base is now back in stock with a new nonslip surface.
