Svein-Frode Gudbrandsen finds photographic inspiration in the Norwegian Arctic where he has lived most of his life. He studied Media, Art and Economy for five years at a university, and now works full-time as a high-risk consultant in a branch of Norway's largest bank.

Svein-Frode picked up photography while serving for the Royal Norwegian Air Force back in 1996 but didn't buy his own camera until 2000. Today he uses Sony digital and Hasselblad film cameras. Depicting the Arctic landscape and its light is his number one priority, but he also does portraits and experimental fine art photography.

In the future he hopes to become a full-time artist combining visual and musical expressions. He is completely self taught in both photography and digital darkroom techniques, but would like to thank good online friends for priceless help and inspiration.
