This picture was taken at Millenia Walk, a shopping centre in Singapore. The structure you see in the picture is actually a rather interesting sculpture, "Soaring Helix", designed by Philip Johnson. It was taken just after sunset, when the light on the sculpture had nicely balanced out with the luminosity of the sky. I was actually standing in the middle of a roundabout, so the shot was taken handheld, as setting up a tripod was probably not advisable.

Equipment Used: Pentax K5 and Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6.

About the Photographer: I have been taking photographs since end 2006, and spend most of my free time currently trying to capture the various scenic views available in Singapore. When I get sufficient money, I try to go overseas for a breather, and almost always enjoy it. My photographic passions are largely limited to seascapes, architecture and cats; though I do take the occasional portrait of my fiancee. Visit my website for more information.
