I had finished shooting for the day and was headed back to the truck when I happened to look over my left shoulder and see the nice color in this tidepool. I also liked the abstract nature of the curves so I ran over and quickly set up before the light faded. I was very happy with the results. D2X w/ 28-80 @ 80mm, 3 sec. @ f/11 - MLU and mc-30 remote release, 3 sec. @ f/11 - MLU and mc-30 remote release, 100 ISO, no filters, Gitzo GT5540LS legs and RRS BH-55 ballhead , Capture One 4, CS3, Tony Kuyper's Luminosity and Saturation Masks, Web sharpening.
