Elephant poaching is funding terrorism at the rate of $600,000 per month.
One pair of tusks can bring up to $375,000. This is because a large elephants tusks weigh up to 250 pounds and ivory now sells for $1500 per pound.
Every 15 minutes an elephant is murdered for its ivory.
Despite agreements made by countries to stop the poaching, one year later, the elephant murder rate is the same.
