Quantum Instruments is working on getting into the motion trigger business. I do wish they chose a different photo of a squirrel to showcase how well it works though!

A photo of a stationary squirrel sitting on the ground eating a peanut and claiming the photo was taken using the IR Beam Breaking mode isn't very convincing. Had they photographed a squirrel in mid-jump, or with all 4 feet off a branch because it was running, they'd have my attention. Their indoor lab set-up appears to work in their video, but I'd like to see something more challanging done in daylight conditions that involves a moving critter. Something to watch - to see how Quantum's motion trigger pans out.
