Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Landscapes Gallery, week ending 6th July, 2012!
Hi all, Apologies for the quite week from me, we've been playing host to a client for a one to one for the last 11 days and have had a busy time. The monsoon is in full swing and the peaks being illusive, but we managed to grab a promising break and make the two-day trip up to the Tibetan border via Zhongdian. Miraculously we scored a stunning high latitude sunset over the huge peaks and then did some night photography until the moon set about 02:30. This shot was part of a series of 7 minute stacks taken from our hotel window  (I love relaxed shooting!)I was thinking black and white from the start of the shoot and have processed it for impact and mystery.
