Snow storm this past weekend. Another in my recent efforts to include some habitat in my wildlife images.

Crazy to have snow this time of year! Love what it does mixing with the spring green grass and having the bison with the half-molted coat. I like all the layers in this, gives a good sense of depth and balance to the image. Really nice image.

Hi

I think it works nicely – I like the composition and habitat inclusion

All the best

Well done! It is really nice how the entire frame is white except the area where the buffalo is. It is the perfect framing and the green complements the brown nicely.

I'd say you were very successful at getting plenty of habitat in this image Phil -- the snowy trees and hillside are a terrific backdrop for the bison. It almost looks like a studio shot! ;)

There certainly were some challenging conditions this past week, but they worked well for you in this case. I love the green stripe running through the image.
