 It was a rainy weekend here, so I had a bit of time to get back to an idea from a few years ago, which is a riff on the Night in the Museum movie. This composite is based on four images -- the rose, the katydid, the frame, and of course McFly, our intrepid museum patron. The handcrafted frame in my first image in the series was a bright gold, which I have modified here to a wood tone, by using a brown frame shape over the original with the layer blend set to color. The katydid was heavily retouched and the legs repositioned to fit the petal in the composite with the rose, which I have cropped here to put the katydid in a better position, then distorted it to fit the frame. The background color is 224/224/224 R/G/B to match the NSN gray page. A fun technical exercise, all in all, though I realize it isn't everyone's cup of tea  NIK CEP, PS perspectiveG. Briney
