Hi

Interesting how the beetle pulls at the eye in one direction, while the perch pulls in the opposite. And overall a very nice image that certainly has good overall charm and appeal.

Regarding suggestions – this is a type of shot that I often feel is helped by just a minor fill flash. Positioned low down and used directionally just to lift the stem of the plant out of shade, and hence help pull this aspect more into the foreground

Fine insect portrait, lovely flower as well - fill really helps with image in daylight like this, both with the subject and the stem.
