Here's a good tutorial for loading canvas sheets in a desktop printer, it seems this topic comes up now and then here.

Since I first began printing on canvas with my 3880 I have had problems getting the print centred on the canvas. I was adding the inch on top for the paper strip and then cutting the canvas and inch larger. I then used a Custom size that was the same as the cut canvas. Leaving the Centred box checked didn't work. I always had too little unprinted canvas on the leading edge and too much unprinted canvas on the back edge.

I am mostly printing to gallery wrap the canvas and if there isn't enough border the image can't be centred.

The light finally went on and I am now doing the canvas size in CS5 in two steps. I add the 1" on the leading edge and then go back in and add another inch to the canvas so that I have an additional 1/2" on both the leading and back edge. Problem solved!!!
