I have a couple of shows coming up and while I just love all the hassle of matting and framing everything myself (NOT) I thought I might try some gallery wraps this time as I have some images which would look better presented that way.

Anyone have real world experience with any of the national outfits that do it whom you might be able to recommend?...or for that matter anyone in NE MA as well.

Thanks,

Jim Fenton

I'd highly recommend Artistic Photo Canvas based out of Florida.

I've used Canvas On Demand for about 6 and Bay Photo for 4 and have been very happy with the results from both.

I've been using Nations Photo Lab for many years and Im really pleased with their work and their customer service is fantastic.

They also have a product called "Gallery Block" were they mount a metallic print on wood and you can do it like a wrap. I've done some for the ranch house at Santa Clara and they look great.

I'd also recommend Artistic Photo Canvas from Venice Florida. I had several 20x24 gallery wraps done. Very impressed with their work.

Does anyone have any recommendations for labs in Canada that do this kind of thing. When looking at the above labs, the shipping cost to get it to Canada are expensive. I have google searched labs in Canada but would like some input if anyone has used them before.
Thanks in advance.

Canvas on Demand Pro #1, SimplyColor #2, Mpix Pro #3
All three have provided me with excellent quality all the way up to large 24" x 32" floating frame gallery wraps. They are always running specials, just wait for one and take the plunge.

Another vote for Artistic Photo Canvas. They use Breathing Color Lyve canvas which, IMO, is the best canvas going. They also have a very accurate profile, and their service is excellent.

I've heard good things about APC, but I've used Simply Color and have always had great results...

Canvas on Demand for me. They have a pro-pricing system that makes their canvases super affordable, and I've had better luck getting accurate color and calibration for my canvases from them than any other product (including prints from Mpix, WHCC, and Bay Photo). I kind of wish they made prints!
