This is a collection of time lapse a high speed film from a week tour in the East of Iceland. All scenes were shot with GoPro Hero2 (Recently lost to the North Atlantic Ocean).

Time lapse shot as 11mp stills with 2 and 5 second intervals, the panning was acheived by placing the camera on a kitchen timer.
The high speed was filmed as HD from the car window and then sped up around 4-8 times.

Edited with Sony Vegas and music by Tony Prower (me) :)

Nicely done, Tony! The highly sped up parts had me hanging onto my chair and leaning back! I'd like to see your closer interpretations of the waterfalls.

Great footage Tony - you found some beautiful light. I'm off to buy a kitchen timer - love that idea!

Tony this is so cool. Amazing what you can do with a tiny GoPro and kitchen timer. The kitchen timer is such an awesome idea. How do you like the GoPro? I have one and think its a royal PITA so I don't use it much but I really should. I love this, very cool!

Hey, the Hero2 is pretty good. The stills are 11MP and it is possible to shoot high speed footage at 120 frames per second... that had me sold!

WOW Tony, this is awesome! You just sold me on going to Iceland along with acquiring a GoPro. The kitchen timer idea is fantastic.

Best regards,

Bill
