It is my pleasure to present (drumroll please)...

The 2011 NatureScapes.Net Images of the Year Awards!

The winning images are selected by the moderators and staff from the incredible pool of outstanding images that have earned the honor of Image of the Week throughout the year. In each category, a winner and two runners up are selected, and the decision is never an easy one. Congratulations to the photographers of the recognized images and all of those who have participated this year.

A very special thanks also goes to our sponsors, whom without the Images of the Year Awards would not be possible. This year's Image of the Year Awards were sponsored by NatureScapes.Net, Wimberley, Hunt's Photo and Video, LensCoat, Nik Software, Gura Gear, and Essential Photo Gear.

Lastly, I feel it is important to THANK and CONGRATULATE all of you who contribute so greatly to our community. NatureScapes would not be the vibrant, thriving resource that it is without you. Thank you for your continued support and all you do.

It is an honour to be chosen for this award. Each image is spectacular IMO. I hope I continue to improve and am thankful for the people who take the time to look at, and critique work on NS. Also to Cynthia, Gary, Carol C, Matthew P., who take the time to comment in PDA on a regular basis. Thanks Again!!!!!!!!!!
