I had been putting off shooting these, but I saw that most of the blooms were gone this morning. I was working with some soft light, most of the time, and some wind.

Topaz Adjust & FotoSketcher.

This is my first crack at FotoSketcher. I used a couple of different types of sketching.

Interesting combination Jim -- like a line drawing over an Orton effect, I like it! Nice color too --- sorry to hear that they're fading tho. I have a few brave daylilies with a few scattered blooms in spite of the heat (103 F today) and lack of rain, but I guess that's probably mild compared to TX right now.

Nice image and application Jim.

The heat is getting to a lot of things right now. Keeps me away from the outdoors more than I wish.

Nice sketchy look here, Jim. The contrasts are nice between the blossoms and background, though I might wish for a little more in the flowers. Overall, though, this works well with a very pleasing composition.
