Want to extend the flash forward of the hotshoe.  I already have a hotshoe extension cable.  This is not what I am looking for now.

I am looking for a way to move the flash forward (maybe 4 inches....or maybe 12 inches; i.e. I do not know) to another hotshoe where the flash will be mounted.....over the lens barrel.

When I google "hot shoe extension" I get what appear to be COLD shoe extenders, lots of them.  Any ideas?

Thanks ahead

Nothing like this exists AFAIK. I was looking for something similar about 6 months ago, but came up empty handed.

Yes, with a Wimberley bracket you can move it forward and/or up. They are not cheap, but they are very well made.

Why not use a radio transmitter/receiver? Though if you're insistent on needing TTL you'll spend much more for an RF system. I use it for manual flash only at the present time.

A simple transmitter/receiver kit is less than $60. https://store.naturescapes.net/phottix- ... igger-set/ ($55)

TTL compatible is much more money: https://store.naturescapes.net/phottix- ... and-nikon/ ($330)

Or you could use a longer off-camera flash cord. We sell 3 meter versions in the store here: https://store.naturescapes.net/jjc-off- ... n-cameras/ ($38) I have been using the above cord for years - exactly like the Canon or Nikon versions.

If you want to get the Nikon branded version B&H has it here: (up to 3 meters/9 feet long): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/3 ... _Shoe.html ($75)

Tara has been working on a shipping discount for international orders but in the meantime contact her or me for a discount if you are in need of anything.

Flash bracket does just what you say you want to do, this one will place it above the lens foot.

https://store.naturescapes.net/wimberle ... oto-combo/

Add this one to place it further forward or to aim the flash at a close in macro subject:

Both need a dovetail plate to mount to on a lens foot, you need more bits to attache to camera/lens without a foot. Your flash cord should mount directly to both of these items.
