Two weeks ago my wife's Canon Mark IV had the shutter shatter at about 90K actuations.  Thought it was a fluke.

Just got back from Bosque where both my Canon Mark IV bodies suffered shutter shatter at about 90K actuations.

So, looks like that is about the life of the shutter.  We both shoot mostly BIF in high speed frame rate mostly, not shutter friendly.

Note:  Canon Irvine has software that reads instantly the shutter actuations.  About $400 to redo the shutter with CPS.

Here's another MkIV caveat. Some editions have a mirror box problem that will cause the camera to throw off constant error 20's in high temps. I did not become aware of it until shooting in the Pantanal at temps of 100F+.
Requires mirror box replacement - $600 before CPS discount

Mine had error 20 and would lock up. 10 frames per second sounded tingie metal. But in the the extreme cold temps. Box was replaced under warranty
