Useal this guys comes out around the easter but this year i see some too early

Hi

I like the subject matter and the composition seems nice enough placing the subject well in the frame - but I feel the surround or perhaps its the tonality of the whole is not quite working as well, Its not a bad shot as such, just not quite one that grabs my attention as much as the subject deserves

Kostas: My immediate reaction is that this needs to be composed in portrait orientation rather than landscape. That eliminates the brown stem on the left and the OOF line above it and gives more emphasis to the flower itself. A subject worthy of further work. >=))>
