The stems make an attractive pattern, and the vertical emphasizes the length. It would be nice to eliminate the banding in the background.

Hi

Similar to Tom I like the angle you have chosen and the effects of plant and DOF - the backdrop is a distraction though to the more abstracted look of the foliage. Perhaps try a square crop to strengthened the image look?

Either way an interest take that very nearly stand out form the crowd
