Wondering if I should bring up the brightness a bit? I think the tight crop lost detail in the petal but I wanted to bring out the green stem.
I found three colors; yellow, red and this one seems to be between. I had no idea they were different in color. They were growing wild in the desert. I find them to be much more colorful and varied more so than potted plants. Much harder to capture too. ;)

Nice center details, especially those green stamens, and a nice cropped composition. Adding a bit more light would help.

Hi

A good close up study - on my monitor they look ok, perhaps a little tweaking of the darks to make them a tad stronger? My monitor is not calibrated though, so I would not read too much into that remark

All the best
Matthew

A nice composition with these lovely blooms and I would certainly go a touch brighter with this image.
