Hi

A nice fine and good behaviour to see - image wise I would ideally like to see more DOF (especially frontal) and some flash fill to lift the tonality and add more pop to the main subjects

Just my penny's worth and nice to see regardless

All the best
Matthew

Nice one - love the closeness. Ring flash is a good choice for fill, or you can use a shoe-mounted or off-camera speedlite.

hi again

Any flash will help - if you are on a tight budget use the onboard camera one, next step up would be a dedicated flash mounted on camera, then an off camera option. The good news is that for macro you don't need the biggest flash gun around - but specialist flash units such as ring are indeed excellent, although a bit pricey as well - so depends upon you budget. My own approach was to build up to an off camera unit over time -

All the best
Matthew
