That eye looks so different and the little antennae drooping down is so cool!

Nice angle on the moth, fine vertical composition.

Hi

A cool shot of this little chap - droopy antenna and all

My only suggestion - I feel the negative space feels a little more natural on top of the subject in composition if this sort, hopefully that makes sense to you LOL

All the best
Matthew

Didn't quite get you at first...you mean to shift the subject down a bit and leave more room at the top?
I think I can do this - I did crop the image slightly, so may have some "top space" left over.
Will try it.
Cheers

Hi again

You got me - I think a lot of the comfortable looks we see are related to what we see each day. For example most magazine shots and the like have more upper negative areas, for obvious reasons. This approach to me seems to ground subjects better as well as being more normal/usable and hence often feels easier upon the eye because its the morm, and less jarring

Which is not to say that the opposite cannot work better at times

All the best
Matthew
