Excellent comp and detail. Amazing how it blends so well with the tree, I probably would have never seen it.

Hi

A very nice shot - a little too tightly framed for my tastes, but good detail throughout and good perch useage

All the best
Matthew

Indeed is not easy to see them at all , but i found a trick , i look them when they are on the air and where they  will sit . Then i start to go close slowly  and shot images from step to step . They like to  go in this kind of trees  and they have almost the same color plus they are always in the shadows , they don't like the noise at all so i have the camera in sillent mode .

Nice image of a satyr - there's a bit of DOF falloff at the bottom edge of the butterfly wing.

SO exactly how did you spot this?

Wonderful example of camouflage and beautiful detail and background.

V.nice image, good detail, the contour of the perch seems tailor made for the shape of the butterfly
