"Striking a Balance"
A somewhat abstract interpretation of some marsh marigold flowers taken on a sunny spring day in northern Virginia. I like the balance between out of focus and in focus blooms and the visual weight that each bloom holds within the composition.
Techs: Canon 7D, Canon 70-200 f/4 + 1.4xTC + 500D @ 280mm. 1/100th second, f/5.6., ISO 200. Tripod.

Lovely composition - the OOF blooms are beautifully placed.

Very nice image with a very painterly quality. This would look good on a wall.
