Wild Honey at Bosque

Not exactly wildlife, landscape or macro, but since there a couple of bees visible on the honeycomb, I posted it here. A wild beehive on the side of a cliff at Bosque del Apache on Saturday. 
Nikon D700, Nikon 500f4, 1.4 TC, f5.6@1/400 sec., small crop.

Insects are really for the Macro forum Joe, so I'll move it there.    Now if there was a large bear ripping into that honey then it would be fine here in wildlife!  :)

You're right, Gary! For me, there is a Barn Owl's nest 20 feet to the left in a small cavity in the sandstone. It's well protected, thus the use of a long lens with TC and still a small crop! At least one bee was hovering around my tripod, so I was careful not to agitate him!
