There are many subjects to photograph in a tropical rainforest. The smaller creatures in particularly are fascinating, even though I cannot always tell what they are!

Taken during my annual Borneo Rainforest Tour: D750, 150mm, f8, ISO1600, flash, full-frame.
Regards,

Des

Wonderful image - splendid pose, perch, and an eye-catching species. I don't know Borneo fauna, but this looks like a moth caterpillar. The tussock moths in North America have tufts that are similar - but not as long!

Lovely image Des, the illuminated tufts give the impression of a small firework!

I can't help on the ID, but this is a really beautiful image! Well composed, evenly and naturally lit... Love the "fireworks."

Excellent shot, the lighting works well to emphasize the tufts.

Hi

It does look like a form of a tussock moth caterpillar - but whatever the correct ID a fabulous shot with a strong lighting look that brings out the spines nicely

All the best
Matthew
