Sharing a tiny hopper nymph taken this morning.  It has super long feelers which I had difficulty getting them into the frame.  I chose to cut off one of the them to reduce negative space.  I welcome your C & C for improvements.

Beautiful image, both for the katydid and the perch - excellent camera position. The long antennae of katydids can cause compromises, I think you made a good choice.

Excellent shot I like the lighting, which works very well for both the plant and subject, and the background.

Nice subject and perch, and a fine shot!  I think you did the right thing with that long extended antenna.

The curve of the plant goes well with the shape of the insect.

Hi

Nice lighting and a lovely image overall - the long antenna are always problematic and quite often lead to compositional compromises, I think you have made a good choice here, although at shooting time it would have been an option of pushing the perch more into the right - either way a delightfully entertaining image

All the best
Matthew

Dear all,

Thanks for your comments and point noted on the composition suggestion.
Good observation by jerryb regarding "the curve of the plant goes well with the shape of the insect".
