Hi

I love the dreamy surrounds that look appealing in both colour and tone, but for my tastes I would prefer the in-focus bloom more dominate. Having said this I do think you have captured a strong appealing image and the image you were after extremely well

All the best
Matthew

Beautiful, dreamy, and love the pastel colour palette, but part of me wishes for a little more definition in that tiny star of the composition Matty.

The OOF areas are very lovely, fine selective focus for the subject bloom. That main bloom looks well-defined to me, but the low contrast look that benefits the foreground and background may not suit the subject. You could add a bit of midtone contrast (clarity) selectively to give the subject some bite.

I really like this soft delicate interpretation, though I wish the main flower were a little less centered.
