Taken in the same place, on another position.

Canon 40D, 300mm f4 IS + 25mm ext, tripod.

ISO 200, f8.0, spot metering, 1/100.

I prefer this shot over your previous one because the light is more even. A nice pose as well. Perhaps fill flash could have provided a catchlight, but a minor point.

Like the others I think this is overall a much better looking shot - it is imo really a combination of much better overall elements, such as a less distracting surround, no OOF frontal elements, better highlights ect

So yep I enjoyed the last image - and yep I have enjoyed this one (LOL)

Nice work - and good to see you working the subject
