I was at a gas station heading out to do my early morning bird photography and just so happen I spotted these near the exit, so I whipped out the gear and took a few shots.

Hi

I like the way you have composed around the subjects - and this aspect of the image really works well and appeals to my tastes. The tonality of the backdrop is the main distraction for me - mainly that darker band, because it is so strong in shape. But I suspect your options were limited

Congrats on seeing an opportunity and making the best of it. I probably would have drove on since I am very lazy at my age. :)The background color is certainly not what you would call natural looking, but whether that is a bad thing or not is up to each viewer.

The flowers look great - a step to the left or your birding lens would have taken care of that dark band.
