This image is shot hand held at local park on an overcast day, with a 60mm macro lens on an APSC camera. The aim was to keep the very top of the hibiscus stigma in focus and the petals out of focus to give the image a dreamy look. EXIF Data: Aperture priority, 60 mm @ f 8.0, 1/80 sec, ISO 800, cloudy WB.

Hi

And a big welcome to the forum - I like this image which makes for a pleasing first post, the colours are good, and you have a nice balanced look between DOF and central detail. Personally I would consider a very slight crop to remove the background area lower right, petals and flower heart is enough by itself for a fine shot

Thanks for the view

All the best
Matthew

Welcome! A fine first post - a pleasing soft background and nice stigma detail.
