Textures of Leaf

Here's another take on the leaf shot: another frame taken with the same techs, but with a different twist of the polarizer, to get a darker and slightly more moody effect.  Cropped to vertical (so quite a large crop from full-frame).

I really like the dark look in this one, also the closeness, so the bright details on the stem are prominent.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I could have stacked to get a little more depth, but on this occasion chose not to. I think the amount of polarization is a personal preference but tend to agree that less is more with this shot in terms of composition and detail.
