This is a tangle of the hair-like filaments at the middle of an open milkweed seed pod. I got close enough in to eliminate the seeds from the frame. Click the image to view with a dark background - makes a difference with this one.

Beautiful image, interesting how the detail is on the edges of the frame rather than the center and that makes it quite unique I think.

A lovely image. The filaments looks like silk threads.

A pleasing one.

Silk came to my mind too. Awesome rendition for the milkweed.

Hi Tom:

Very nice image that conveys the softness of the seed pod very very well.

So delicate and ethereal Tom! Like the faintest frost on a window pane.

Lovely abstract Tom. Great choice for the B&W conversion. A high key abstract look into milkweed. Very original and VERY well executed.
