September is the month I really enjoy visiting Presque Isle State Park in Erie PA, which is about 30 miles from my home. A great time to see many butterfly species:

D7000, Sigma 120-400, 1/250 @ f10 ISO 160, SB-600, Tripod, Crop.

Excellent image, and perfect for the season in northeastern NA: this is goldenrod time, and silver-spotted skippers are plentiful.

Nice job.
We have Silver-spotted Skippers too, but they're a different (and rare) species!
