fine colors , prefer more DOF so the white rim frills are sharp

More DOF was my first thought but perhaps conditions wouldn't allow. Beautiful plant and good shot in any case, I do like the square format and the color.

Actually since all the 5 petal tips are blurred it looks appealing to me. The focus right at the center is just perfect for this view. Great background also to go along,

I like the DOF like this - it makes the flower center appear to float. A creative look.

Originally this was part of a stacking sequence, but some frames were 'wind affected'. Hence my choice of a specific detail with this choice of one.

I like the colour and the comp is ok - but I'd agree with the others not really sharply enough define anywhere to give a primary focus, or point of interest imo
