Emerald Glass Frog (Costa Rica)

These are very small frogs (22-27mm), also very fragile and mainly nocturnal but I have seen them during the day probably trying to get to a darker/cooler place in the forest. 

I made this image while visiting the southern zone in Costa Rica.

Flash handled very well on this rather reflective skin. Alert pose looks very appealing.
