Kale Leaf

This variety has very dark green leaves (probably Lacinato Kale) and is being grown at the local gardens as part of their Kids' Education program.

This is a stack of about 56 photos (partly because I was an angle to the leaf surface) shot at F/11 and about 1/50 Sec @ ISO400. Stacking was done in Photoshop and converted into B&W using Silver Efex Pro with a few manual steps in between.

Excellent detail and varied tones in this one. Sounds like a lot of work went into this with a great result.

If the water drops weren't there, I might mistake this for a topographical map. Nice abstract image!
