A mating pair perched in a dense bunch of sedges in a meadow - not a great background, but I haven't had a good look at a pair of these in a while.

Good shot here Tom and quick thinking to do a stack-looks great. Nice detail from the 180+TC combo as well.

Looks so natural, Tom. Good stack using just 3 shots. You possibly paralleled the butterfly at the bottom judging by the more or less overlapping antennae.

Inclusion of the environment is skillfully handled.

Great work with stacking. Light and colors are great.

Was this the EF 180L Macro and a Canon 2x?

Great behavior capture Tom. Our eastern blues are very active. Have to get caught up with some of my captures of these beauties, but nothing as well done as yours. Very nice.
