"Against the Wall"
Went out to Great Falls National Park, VA a couple mornings ago to try for a nice sunrise, but the light never really happened. All of the boulders and cliffs around the Potomac River there have really nice lichen growth on them. So, I turned my attention to them to try to come up with a pleasing composition. I converted this one to black and white and upped the contrast quite a bit. Click the image to view it on black. Thanks for looking  8)
Technical Spectacle: Canon 7D, Canon 10-22 @ 22mm. 1 second @ f/11. ISO 200. Polarizer. Tripod.

Very nice monochrome. Random patterns really look neat with interspersed light and dark areas.
