Some species of leek, couldn't fully id it yet. Many very similar species.

There were many but I wanted one where I could put another one in the background.

Brightened up the left one a bit with the adjustment brush in LR 5.6.

EOS 1DX, EF 3.5/180L IS Macro, tripod, mirror-lock-up, 2s self-timer
1/80s, f9, ISO 400.

I can't help with the ID but this is a very interesting flower. I love all of the detail in each of the individual pods. Excellent composition, color and background as well.

Something in the Allium family for sure. Nice selective focus for those frontal tiny bits and a cool echo effect with the OOF bunch in the background.

Nicely designed image, attractive DOF choice. Pretty flowers, the bright anthers and colors are lovely.

Hi

An enjoyable composition - I like the nicely in focus against the OOF bloom while still retaining good separation

All the best
Matthew
