I usually like shooting these guys in bright sun, but i was really pleased with the detail on this one under high cloud conditions. It was still super bright but i didn't get all the specular highlights that usually show up under sunny skies.

Hi

An excellent shot - and although high contrast lighting will give you shutter speed, it not the most flattering of lighting types, I prefer this look

All the best
Matthew

Great flight shot, the yellow looks good against the blue as well.

Terrific take on this DF in flight. While many struggle to make the body parallel to the sensor on a perched DF, you have accomplished that on a DF in flight. Nice work

This look works for me, the softer lighting brings out super detail in this lovely flight shot.

Well said, and super image!

Yes, it's some of my favorite light:  bright, diffused light that we get when the Sun is nearly "out", but not quite.

Thanks :)
