Daylily Abstract

After Tulip and Dahlia, Daylily happens to be my most favourite for creating abstracts. When I made this photo I did not have a short macro lens. I made this using a standard 50mm lens with a 36mm tube. Exactly as shot..no crop, no manipulations. 

This photo has to be made in a specific time window at the gardens, when the rising early morning sun illuminates the throat of the Lily for a few minutes.

Another terrific abstract Ram --- the shallow dof works well with yellow throat transition to pink petals.
