Swallowtail Attack

I was taking pictures in my yard of a black (female tiger...edit ) swallowtail butterfly when a tiger swallowtail butterfly attacked it. Regretfully all my mid-air encounter photos were blurred.
Canon 1dMIII 70-200mm with 2x and 12mm extender at 305mm, f/8 at 1/1600 sec, 400ISO, and a monopod.

Jerry, Marvellous !!. Getting one would be tough and now you have two...Is'nt the black one female Tiger Swallowtail ? Can see the black stripes from underneath the wings.

Would open up the dark wing just a bit though.

Yes, you are right. I checked another shot of the top of its wing.
