Hex on a lake

This is a hex spinner on a log at the edge of an impoundment.    A thunderstorm was developing above.   

1/125 f11 @8mm (16mm eq)

Very clever use of the Wide angle lens using its close distance magnification. Love the attentive pose of the insect and how the light shines through its body.
