Flying Dragon

Blue-eyed Darner male

There were two or three of these dragonflies that kept posing just within my minimum focus distance... I couldn't resist.
5DMkII, EF300/4L, EF1.4x tc, EF25mm extension tube, handheld.
1/250, Av @ f13, Eval @ -1/3, ISO 800

Looks great to me - excellent detail and nice wing position, I like the background speculars as well.

Very nice detail, especially on the tail.
I was trying to get a sitting one yesterday; perhaps I should have tried a flight shot:)
