This is a commonly photographed flower, but was the first to bloom in our backyard. The freezing temps and an inch of snowfall destroyed all of them.

Canon 7D, ISO 100, F2.8, Tripod.

Well at least you have saved this one for infinity! I love the selective focus and the almost 3D effect you have created Vasanthi, this makes me think of lemon meringue pie.......Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
