Absolutely no clues what this species is?, but the common name "Blue Bottle" could be half right?.
....This is a 60 shot focus stack of a deceased insect (I found it on one of my windowsills)........so it's just a photographic study of a dead insect.
Thanks for looking, cheers

5DII, full set kenko extension tubes, 180 Tamron macro lens, reversed Nikon 50mm f1.4 (@f4), cable release, novoflex rail, work bench, home made reflectors with all natural light, green leaf for the background, helicon focus for the focus stacking.

The colors and the stacked detail are super. I'm not a fly guy, can't help with the species...

Hi

I think bluebottles are blowflies – and a stunning image of this chap, quite an excellent stack and lighting combination with quite super details. One could say a great epitaph for a fallen flyer *laughing)

All the best
Matthew
