Hi All

An image captured by playing around in the back yard trying tocome up with an interesting or appealing composition / shot of some simple lawn grass – whether it works or not Iwill leave up to you to decide, but its harder than it sounds (laughing)

All the best

Matthew

I think this works, Matthew. Pretty cool natural abstract......but why not try this sort of shot with the Early Purple Orchids that are about now, that would REALLY work well! :)

Who would have thought grass could look so good!  Lovely as is - but just think how pretty this could become with a single daisy or such. :P

The softness and simplicity are appealing - but what I really like is that it's very different from most of your other work. Bravo!

Hi

And thanks for the kindly comments – Steve and Carol I think your remarks about having another object as a focal point as good ones, but then it would not be an exercise solely about the study of grass (laughing) But your points are good!

All the best
Matthew

Yes, I appreciate what you did here and it stands on its own merits.  Just thinking out loud on the possibilities it could lead to.  :D
