Hi All:
This is a water strider feeding on a tiny winter stonefly. Winter stoneflies typically hatch in February but this has been a year like none other so they are still emerging. This was taken in a very small Michigan stream. The water striders move very quickly and are difficult to capture. Olympus EM-1 60mm Macro, 1/160, f8 Kevin Feenstra
