Our wild flowers are FINALLY starting to pop. Unfortunately the weather is turning BITTERLY cold with snow and temps well below 32F.   A lot of blossoms and buds are going to be frost burned.  

Here is one for Tom.   Your favorite and I was lucky to see the first blooms this weekend.  

Canon 60D Camera
Sigma 150mm/F2.8 lens
2 images blended. - F11 for the detail on the flower and F5.6 for the BG.
On tripod and blended in Photoshop Elements.

A lovely simple composition and quite excellent details seen throughout this pristine looking bloom – a very nice looking shot. Shame to hear about the weather / frosts – the same happened last year over here
